The Lymph Vessel System

Lymphatic system is our body’s cleaning system. Our tissues are washed in lymphatic fluid. It supplies us with the life-giving nutrients necessary for body development. Youth, life, and death are dependent on lymph and its renewal. Lymph system is right below the skin. The flow in the lymph channels is sluggish because there is no pulsation here coming from the heart, that is why lymphatic drainage massage is so important and beneficial. Lymph fluid flows via whole body, visit all the regions of the body from head to feet: the ear, the membranes of the brain and spinal cord, etc. The lymph vessel system therefore represents a type of sewage system, eliminating wastes produced by the working cells and carrying them to organs which get rid of them—the lymph nodes.

The Lymph Nodes

The lymph nodes are filters, whose function is to destroy the harmful substances, poisons, and bacteria. Lymph nodes also collect the unrecognizable substances such as synthetic preservatives, coloring...A lymph node consists of adenoid tissue and, like the spleen and tonsils, continually produces white blood cells. These cells defend the body against invasion and poisoning, and their activity is heightened during infectious diseases. So what happens in the lymph system during an infection? We experience a battle. The body reacts to the invasion of bacteria. The lymph vessels and nodes enlarge, the white blood cells destroy bacteria and take them away. Generally, the battle is finished in the lymph nodes.

Natural Regeneration of the Skin through Lymph Drainage

The skin cells wear out and, thanks to a process called mitosis, are constantly replaced by young cells. Necessary, life-sustaining nutrients leave the blood with the help of osmosis, pass into the lymph, and thus reach the cells. Assuming this exchange cannot take place, the lymph vessels become blocked with stagnant, old lymph. This is how the body becomes poisoned by its own waste.

Lymph Drainage

After many years of clinical experience and research, a rational method of treatment has been successfully developed which enables renewal of the lymph, activation of the circulation, stimulation of cell activity, and regeneration of the facial tissue. Lymph drainage is a healthy, natural, painless, and absolutely effective method which gives a new basis to life, health, and beauty. - Dr. Vodder’s manual Lymph Drainage
