SWEET DREAMS

Organic Ingredients: Lavender Flower, Pau’d Arco, Lemon Balm, Chamomile Flower, Echinacea Root, Gotu Kola.

Lavender flowers are highly antioxidant, as well as sedative. They also have unsurpassed skin healing benefits for burns, minor cuts and abrasions.

Pau’d Arcois calming and soothing, this bark is recommended for the prevention and healing of psoriasis and other similar related skin issues. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center: Scientists have identified two active chemicals in pau d'arco. These chemicals are called naphthoquinones: lapachol and beta-lapachone. In lab tests, these chemicals killed some types of bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites, and both chemicals showed anti-inflammatory properties.

Lemon balm is naturally antibacterial and antifungal. It is often used within cold sores and blister remedies, as well as in "sleepy time" tea to help promote a restful nights' sleep.

Chamomile flowers are known to hold relaxing benefits. Using this herb in bath tea for those who have problems relaxing or falling asleep is especially beneficial.

Echinacea is often taken internally in an effort to stale off the common cold. Many people find that taking Echinacea at the first sign of illness, that they are able to kick the cold faster, or keep it from getting worse. For topical application, echinacea can be reduced in water or oil, and used within your formulations to help treat skin abscesses, mild wounds, eczema and psoriasis.

Gotu Kola Taken as a natural stress reliever and overall mood enhancer, Gotu Kola has been studied over the years for its stress relieving benefits. For topical use, it's often applied to help with the reduction of varicose veins as it has the tendency to increase circulation within the skin layers.

SKIN & BODY DETOX

Organic certified Ingredients: Ginger root, Ginkgo leaf, Eucalyptus leaf, Cleavers, Comfrey leaf, Dandelion root.

Ginger is one of the best detoxifiers known to man. It detoxifies the skin layers and helps improve blood circulation. Promote sweating, which is a sign of deep tissue detoxification.

Dandelion root is right next to ginger for its powerful detoxifying benefit. Dried roots of dandelion are valued for the support in hormone balancing.

Ginkgo biloba is anti-inflammatory. When absorbed through the skin, increases blood flow to the skin layers and improves the overall health of our skin.

Eucalyptus leaf is known for ages to help with cold and flu. When it is steeped in hot water and used in "steam baths" helps clearing nasal passages.

Cleavers have been taken internally and topically for skin related issues. They are naturally anti-inflammatory and astringent. Herbalists recommend this plant for seborrhoea, eczema, and psoriasis.

Comfrey leaf is beneficial to all skin types; it helps to moisturize and soothe dry irritated skin, promotes rapid skin-cell growth, contributes to skin renewal, protects against bacteria and other microorganisms, reduces inflammation and helps to keep skin healthy.

SKIN SOOTHING (eczema, psoriasis, itchy skin, dry skin)
Organic certified Ingredients: Yucca root, Lemon Verbena, Chickweed, Basil leaf, Aloe leaf, Calendula flower.

Yucca root. Native Americans used the leaves of the yucca bush for successfully treating psoriasis, dandruff, hair loss, skin sores and inflammation.

Lemon verbena possess a powerful anti-itch / anti-bacterial punch for topical formulations. Science has proven this in a study performed in Iran where a solution containing a simple lemon verbena extract was shown to effectively treat skin infections caused by the staphylococcus aureus bacteria. This herb is now being researched for its apparent immune system boosting benefits and for its counteracting effects on joint pain.

Chickweed. This herb contains saponins, which have been proven to exert an anti-inflammatory action very much like the workings of cortisone. Herbalists recommend this herb in topical form as an excellent alternative to cortisone creams because it's claimed to be milder in action and doesn't hold the side effects that cortisone does.

Basil leaves are naturally anti-inflammatory. They make a great addition to skin soothing bath tea.
