What do you do with Bananas that are too ripe, with brown spots and not looking too appetizing? Well, today I decided to make Banana bread. It took so little time to prepare it and made a delicious lunch snack! We had it with Strawberry spread and coffee with Cashew creamer (find recipe in my previous blog post).
I LOVE Cashews! Actually, my whole family loves cashews. We use it in so many ways: add to super-food smoothies, make milk and creamer, no bake cake with berries, power energy bars, and it makes filling and delicious snack by itself. To insure that we get to enjoy all the goodies that Cashews contain, we only buy raw and organic.
History and nutritional value:
Neem oil has a strong garlic/nutty aroma – unpleasant to some but loved by those who have experienced it’s healing and protective powers. Some companies deodorize this oil to get rid off the smell, but it is my belief the strength and some benefits are lost in that process. It is better to add therapeutic essential oils, that will hide the strong Neem aroma and add benefits to the product.
Infrared saunas are beneficial any time of the year, but I think spring beats it all. We need to detox our bodies, to shed some pounds to look and feel our absolute best! Not all infrared saunas are the same. Most saunas will only offer one level infrared rays. Our saunas incorporate 3 levels: near, mid and far infrared rays.
I can claim 100% that super food smoothie is the secret to my health and endless energy. I start my day with green vegetable juice (thanks to my amazing husband preparing it for me every morning!), carrot juice with ginger follows that (and again kudos to my husband), and super food smoothie finalizes my breakfast.
